Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era challenges in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Optimize qubit coherence and error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid computing integration
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Drive patent development in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough research)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing advancements
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing approaches
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
