Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen data systems
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years building quantum systems with demonstrated scalability
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
