Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with hardware teams
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-accelerated machine learning models
- Drive quantum computing standards as part of IEEE Quantum Computing Task Force
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes and fault tolerance techniques
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion)
