Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to develop quantum algorithms
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting, topological qubits)
- Create roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing environments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate quantum capabilities into market-ready solutions
- Author technical whitepapers and present findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical strategies
