Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning models and financial simulations
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Drive quantum security initiatives post-quantum cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing with published research in Nature/Science
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware programming
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Experience leading quantum algorithm development for real-world applications
- Certification in IBM Quantum or Google Quantum AI programs
- Portfolio demonstrating quantum system design implementations
