Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in building quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization problems in drug discovery and materials science
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Drive research on topological qubits and quantum memory innovations
- Present breakthrough findings at quantum computing conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research grants
- Strong track record of mentoring quantum engineering teams
