Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-resistant encryption
- Create architectural blueprints for 1000-qubit quantum processors
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication projects
- Document quantum system architectures in IEEE publications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction
- Publication record in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Clearance for government quantum security projects
