Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for 2026-era security standards
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Create technical documentation and performance benchmarks for quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Research emerging quantum hardware developments and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Certification in quantum computing from recognized institutions (e.g., MIT xPRO, D-Wave)
