Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Partner with policymakers on quantum security standards and ethical frameworks
- Create 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global quantum adoption curves
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and system designs
- Mentor next-generation quantum engineers through our Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in building quantum hardware or software stacks
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error mitigation
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy milestones and 2026 technology horizons
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or superconducting systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
