Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize computational efficiency
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum processors with machine learning frameworks
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum hardware scalability and commercial deployment
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and system designs
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum principles and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubits, ion traps, or topological qubit systems
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated breakthrough implementations
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
