Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop fault-tolerance protocols and error-correction mechanisms for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Create technical documentation and present breakthrough findings to stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quantum computing standards development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor teams
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning and optimization techniques
