Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in building hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols in 2026+ systems
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
- Mentor quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, etc.)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
