Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for practical applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity
- Present quantum solutions to enterprise clients and research partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and researchers
- Stay current with breakthroughs in topological quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum journals
- Experience leading technical teams in fast-paced environments
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
