Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems in cloud environments
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence times
- Create blueprints for quantum-safe cryptographic infrastructure
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum principles
- Secure patents for novel quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in optimizing quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
