Responsibilities
- Design quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems with <0.01% error rates
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D in topological qubit stabilization and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip connectivity and control systems
- Architect secure quantum networks with quantum key distribution (QKD) implementations
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq) and frameworks
- Proven track record designing fault-tolerant quantum architectures at scale
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms and hybrid computing models
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
