Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors and hybrid computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum networks
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (e.g., topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Drive patent development for quantum computing methodologies
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or photonic systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
