Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit scalability using superconducting and photonic technologies
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving <10-12 logical error rates
- Design hybrid quantum-classical interfaces for enterprise integration
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world applications in finance and healthcare
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 99.9% gate fidelity
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Present quantum roadmaps to Fortune 500 CTOs and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of building quantum systems with >50 qubit coherence times
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing architectures and control systems
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business impact for non-technical stakeholders
