Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with >1000 qubit capacity
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and government stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum gate-based systems (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion technologies
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
