Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical systems for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype next-generation quantum processors
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve previously intractable computational problems
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Partner with NASA, IBM, and MIT on multi-institutional quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum gate design, error correction codes, and qubit manipulation
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience leading quantum algorithm development for real-world applications
- Strong background in superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Certification in Quantum Engineering from accredited institution
