- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum processors with >1000 logical qubits
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants from federal and private sources
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithms
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Track record of securing quantum research funding
- Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
