Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead implementation of error correction protocols at scale
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-gen data protection
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Document quantum system specifications and integration standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS + 5 years experience)
- Proven experience with quantum circuit optimization and compilation
- Expertise in quantum error correction (surface/colour codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithm design
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
