Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for commercial applications in cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate architectures
- Produce peer-reviewed research on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research funding
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years building quantum circuits on platforms like IBM Q or Rigetti
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
