Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve quantum advantage in commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum algorithm development
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum annealing) into production systems
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography and secure quantum communication networks
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing adoption in finance, healthcare, and AI sectors
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum standards and policy development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum error correction, and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Experience leading complex technical projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
