Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with physicists to translate quantum hardware specifications into functional code
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in deploying quantum solutions for financial modeling and drug discovery
- Research and implement novel quantum programming paradigms
- Document quantum system architectures and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in linear algebra and quantum mechanics principles
- Published research in quantum computing or equivalent industry contributions
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical applications
