Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Develop quantum error correction strategies and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware providers (e.g., IonQ, Rigetti, IBM)
- Translate quantum research findings into commercial IP and patent portfolios
- Mentor researchers in quantum information theory and computational complexity
- Define technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration into enterprise systems
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Preferred: Prior experience with quantum hardware calibration and control systems
