Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms with exponential computational advantages over classical systems
- Lead quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing at scale
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure and manage $50M+ annual research budgets from DARPA, NSF, and corporate partners
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and speak at global tech conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent novel quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with NASA and CERN on quantum simulations for space exploration and particle physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, decoherence mitigation, and topological qubits
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Experience securing government research grants exceeding $10M
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
- Leadership experience managing cross-disciplinary research teams of 10+ scientists
- Patents or commercialized quantum technologies preferred
