Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum error correction protocols for practical quantum advantage
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum algorithm development
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers
- Drive open-source quantum computing initiatives and community engagement
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks for enterprise clients
- Secure federal and private research grants exceeding $5M annually
- Present findings at quantum computing summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm design and implementation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Strong proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research funding
- Demonstrated leadership managing technical research teams of 10+ members
