Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into scalable solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Analyze quantum system performance metrics to optimize computational efficiency
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical Python/R
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, decoherence, and gate operations
