Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems at milli-Kelvin temperatures
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy concepts
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
- Clearance for DoD projects (or ability to obtain)
