Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026 applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction and hardware optimization

- Secure $2M+ in DOE/NIST grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish top-tier research papers
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies on quantum security solutions
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and algorithm design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Strong track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap)
