Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototyping systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction methodologies to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with industry partners to define quantum roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of translating research into commercial prototypes
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
