Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for scalable quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical AI frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conference proceedings
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from federal agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-doctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publications in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in low-level programming languages (C++, Rust) and quantum assembly
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and laser manipulation equipment
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
