Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and simulation applications
- Design and implement quantum circuits using Q#, Qiskit, or similar frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world products
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies through continuous learning and experimentation
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent filings
- Develop error mitigation strategies for scalable quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Deep expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and quantum algorithms
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Strong background in machine learning, linear algebra, and statistical analysis
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research (Nature/Science papers preferred)
- Experience working with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware interfaces
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
