Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum software stacks compatible with emerging hardware architectures
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Clearance for DoD research projects preferred
