Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with 10x performance improvements over classical systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors operating at 99.9% fidelity
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum supremacy initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through NexusLabs' fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 3 first-author papers)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants or equivalent funding mechanisms
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
