Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into commercial solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at top-tier conferences like IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoE grants for advanced research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and error mitigation techniques

- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
