Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI/ML teams to hybridize classical-quantum workflows
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers while publishing 2+ industry papers annually
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Python, linear algebra, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
