Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Prototype quantum hardware integration solutions with existing cloud infrastructure
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum mechanics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Expertise in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proven track record of securing federal or corporate R&D grants
- Clearance for Department of Defense quantum security initiatives preferred
