Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Develop error mitigation strategies to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Collaborate with AI researchers to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning models
- Secure $5M+ in government grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
