Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop error-corrected quantum processors operating at 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants for 2026 initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies through industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, etc.)
- Strong background in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Fluency in Python/C++ with parallel computing expertise
