Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error-correction techniques to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum computing research or algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Track record of publications in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems or photonic quantum hardware preferred
