Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry grants for quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD interns from top-tier universities (Stanford, MIT, ETH Zurich)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and parallel computing architectures
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
