Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Develop error-correction techniques for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on national security quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience with Qiskit/Cirq
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Security clearance eligibility (or willingness to obtain)
