Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using our 128-qubit processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptography solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and establish new research frameworks for 2026-era quantum systems
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DoD grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing (h-index > 20)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulators
- Demonstrated experience securing federal research grants
