Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants and patents
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Partner with industry leaders for real-world quantum deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published record in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong Python/C++ programming and linear algebra foundations
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
