Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to develop hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent applications for breakthrough innovations
- Present findings at international conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional technical teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research
- Expertise in quantum gate-level programming (Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published work in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
