Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics/Science
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DoE quantum research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on quantum circuit development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum error correction protocols (surface codes, LDPC)
- Experience with quantum annealing solvers (D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra and tensor networks
