Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and financial modeling
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at room temperature
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum-resistant cryptography standards
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science) and present at quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure $2M+ in annual research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and classical HPC frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum machine learning
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum computing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to secure government or corporate research funding
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems
