Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving
- Develop error-corrected qubit systems with >99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware prototyping
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure $2M+ in research grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on classified quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or qubit engineering
- Expertise in at least one quantum framework (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and low-level hardware programming
- Clearance for DoD/NASA projects preferred
- Track record of securing government research grants
