Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for quantum hardware at scale

- Secure federal grants and industry partnerships for quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and build quantum computing curricula
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and gate-level optimization
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum computing frameworks
- Published work in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (NSF/DoE/DARPA)
